When the door opened she was ready to shout and throw something, even knowing it would hurt more but she stopped cold when she saw the rider taking off his boots just inside the door. Relief flooded her features and the way she relaxed as she said his name said more than any explanation. "Johnny, god I missed you." She said, laying back against the pillows as he came closer.

She smiled when he brushed his fingers down her arm, taking his hand carefully and pressing it to the side of her face, closing her eyes. Her lip was split, both eyes blackened and the cheek he wasn't touching was bruised and swollen, she knew she'd definitely seen better days. "You haven't seen it all." She said, raising an eyebrow, though the small amount of his power did help her feel better. "Got shot...a couple times. But I'm mending. Just taking forever I swear."
